This role focuses on fueling growth and empowering distributors by leading the distribution strategy and expanding presence in the Santa Clara/San Jose area. The Partner Account Manager will work with internal sales teams, distributors, and end-users to drive demand, support technical solutions, and achieve measurable results, supporting customers and partners from San Francisco to Santa Clara South to Morgan Hill. This is a remote, field-based role requiring travel within the territory (up to 20% at times) and the candidate must reside near Santa Clara or be willing to relocate.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (other technical degrees may be considered if all other requirements are met).
  • 5-8 years of experience in technical sales and distributor/channel management in the test and measurement sector.
  • Deep knowledge of test equipment and the regional distribution and customer landscape.
  • Proven track record of growing sales via distributor channels and end-user engagement.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with technical audiences.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; able to operate independently.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Residency in close approximation to Santa Clara is required for this remote position.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main technical liaison for distributors in the territory and end customers.
  • Drive distribution sales strategy and implement enablement programs that deliver revenue growth.
  • Identify and close business opportunities in collaboration with internal teams and distribution partners.
  • Provide technical demonstrations and application support to distributors and end users.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, distributor events, and customer meetings.
  • Manage complex sales cycles and maintain long-term customer relationships.
