About The Position

The BPAS team of Participant Services Representatives is responsible for responding to retirement plan and/or benefit plan (FSA, VEBA, HSA) participant questions and inquiries via phone or e-mail in a polite, professional, knowledgeable manner. You must take pride in and truly enjoy assisting others. Learn and understand industry content. Maintain proficient knowledge of all laws and regulations applicable to this position Become proficient with software applications utilized in the position Study for and pass ASPPA (American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries) Retirement Plan Fundamentals Course, as applicable Provide assistance to internal departments As an integral member of the organization, this position is also responsible to provide assistance wherever necessary to help the department and the Company in achieving their goals Maintain proficient knowledge of, and demonstrate ongoing compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to this position, ensure ongoing adherence to policies, procedures, and internal controls, and meet all training requirements in a timely manner

Requirements

  • Customer Service experience required, or a degree in lieu of experience.
  • Related experience working in some capacity with retirement plans or benefits plans (FSA, VEBA, HSA) also a plus.
  • Well-developed written and oral communication skills.
  • Highly organized and show an attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize work assignments and multitask.
  • Display an intermediate level competency with Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as personal computer skills.
  • All applicants must be 18 years of age or older.

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred.
