About The Position

The Title V Participant-Intake Specialist & Active Lifestyle Center Data Entry Clerk provides support to the intake specialist and case management team. This role plays a key part in offering excellent customer service and maintaining confidentiality. The position involves assisting with client inquiries, data entry, and administrative tasks related to intake processes, as well as specific data entry for Meals on Wheels (MOW) volunteer hours.

Requirements

  • Must be 55 years old or older
  • Must be unemployed
  • Must be a resident of Bay Aging service area
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident, lawfully admitted
  • Must meet financial guidelines
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check

Responsibilities

  • Assist in receiving and reviewing incoming client inquiries
  • Collect and verify client information, documents, and eligibility requirements
  • Enter and maintain accurate data in client management systems or databases
  • Provide clear information to clients regarding required forms, processes, and next steps
  • Support Intake Specialists and case managers with administrative tasks, reports, and follow-ups
  • Handle phone calls, emails, and other communications with professionalism and empathy
  • Provide administrative assistance including filing, scanning, and organizing intake materials
  • Collect and track daily MOW volunteer hours (Excel spreadsheet/s)
  • Maintain, update accurate required hours and respond to returned reports, working with the Assistant RSVP Manager
