About The Position

Mixed Pet Veterinary Hospital, part of the VetEvolve network, is seeking a compassionate and collaborative Part-Time Associate Veterinarian for its Charlotte, North Carolina location. The Associate Veterinarian will provide the highest quality of veterinary care and exceptional client service, advocating for pets' quality of life, fostering the human-pet bond, and educating clients on pet health. Requirements

DVM or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary school.
Active (or eligible) North Carolina veterinary license.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Commitment to providing excellent patient care.
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent, with an active or eligible state license.
Strong medical, surgical, and diagnostic skills across companion animal practice.
Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring abilities.
Collaborates effectively in a fast-paced, client-centered environment.
Commitment to maintaining professional ethics, safety, and high-quality patient care.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and safely handle animals up to 130 pounds.
Comfortable sitting, standing, walking, bending, and kneeling for extended periods throughout the workday.
Professional, neat appearance consistent with hospital standards.

Nice To Haves

New graduates and experienced veterinarians are both encouraged to apply.
Minimum 1 year of clinical experience preferred.
Receive mentorship for surgeries and dentistry if desired.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive medical care for companion animals, including wellness, preventive care, diagnostics, and treatment.
Perform routine soft tissue surgeries and dentistry (or receive mentorship if desired).
Collaborate with an experienced and supportive veterinary team.
Build long-term relationships with clients through education and compassionate communication.
Help create an exceptional experience for both pets and their families.
