About The Position

Alta Rancho Pet Hospital is seeking a dependable part-time Veterinary Assistant to support its veterinary team with basic patient handling and general hospital cleaning. The role is suited to someone who enjoys working with animals, is comfortable handling dogs and cats, and is willing to help keep the hospital clean and organized. The hospital has served Rancho Cucamonga and surrounding communities since 1975 and emphasizes high-quality care and a positive team environment. Saturday coverage is required. The position is located at 8677 19th St, Rancho Cucamonga, CA 917010. Pay is $17.00–$22.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Requirements

• Comfortable handling dogs and cats.
• Dependable and detail-oriented, and willing to perform cleaning duties.
• Able to work effectively as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

• Prior veterinary experience is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with restraining and handling patients during examinations.
• Clean and disinfect exam rooms and treatment areas.
• Perform end-of-day cleaning and general hospital cleanup.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for patients, clients, and staff.
• Provide general support to the veterinary team as needed.
