About The Position
Mixed Pet Veterinary Hospital, part of the VetEvolve network, is seeking a compassionate and collaborative Part-Time Associate Veterinarian in Charlotte, North Carolina. The Associate Veterinarian will provide top-quality veterinary care, advocate for pet well-being, foster client relationships, and educate clients on pet health. Requirements
- DVM or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary school.
- Active (or eligible) North Carolina veterinary license.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to providing excellent patient care.
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent, with an active or eligible state license.
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience preferred.
- Strong medical, surgical, and diagnostic skills across companion animal practice.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring abilities.
- Collaborates effectively in a fast-paced, client-centered environment.
- Commitment to maintaining professional ethics, safety, and high-quality patient care.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and safely handle animals up to 130 pounds.
- Comfortable sitting, standing, walking, bending, and kneeling for extended periods throughout the workday.
- Professional, neat appearance consistent with hospital standards.

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive medical care for companion animals, including wellness, preventive care, diagnostics, and treatment.
- Perform routine soft tissue surgeries and dentistry (or receive mentorship if desired).
- Collaborate with an experienced and supportive veterinary team.
- Build long-term relationships with clients through education and compassionate communication.
- Help create an exceptional experience for both pets and their families.
