About The Position

New Market Bank is a family-owned community bank built on respect, integrity, and passion. We focus on personal service, strong customer relationships, and a culture of mutual respect and trust. This Part-Time Floating Teller role requires availability to work at any of our 3 branches (Lakeville, Prior Lake, Elko New Market) as needed. The hours are 15-20 per week, with the requirement to open/close branches and work 2-3 Saturdays per month. This is a year-round role, not a summer-only position, and is a great fit for individuals seeking a schedule that accommodates classes or family time.

Requirements

• Strong customer service skills
• Team-oriented and dependable
• Detail-oriented, organized, able to work independently
• High school diploma/GED
• Able to stand up to 8 hours and lift 50 lbs
• Microsoft Office skills

Nice To Haves

• Teller experience preferred
• 6–12 months cashiering experience
• Jack Henry a plus

Responsibilities

• Handle teller transactions and daily balancing
• Provide excellent in-person and phone service
• Explain bank products/services
• Identify referral opportunities
• Keep work areas clean and organized
• Open/close the branch as scheduled
• Support Bank Secrecy Act requirements
