Part-Time Teller (University Banking Center)
About The Position
First Hawaiian Bank is hiring a Part-Time Teller at its University Branch. The role offers career growth and developmental opportunities. As a branch representative, the teller provides customer service, accurately and efficiently processes financial transactions, and maintains a thorough understanding of the bank’s products and services. The teller serves a diverse customer base, from people opening their first checking account to experienced investors managing their wealth. The pay range is $18.00–$21.50 per hour, commensurate with experience, plus sales incentives. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with Saturday shifts on a rotation basis from 8:30 AM–1:30 PM; hours may vary.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year of customer service experience and cash handling.
- Strong oral and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to engage positively with customers.
- Attention to detail and the ability to use judgment and discretion regarding customer transactions and confidential information.

- Sales advisory skills to educate customers on products and services.
