About The Position
The University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg is seeking a part-time, non-tenure stream instructor to teach elementary French for the 2026-2027 academic year. The elementary French curriculum consists of a three-course sequence that emphasizes a communicative approach, blending language and culture. The selected candidate will teach Elementary French 2 in Fall 2026 and Elementary French 3 in Spring 2027. Instruction may be delivered in-person or online, with a requirement for at least some synchronous components.
Requirements
- Native or near-native fluency in French.
- Master’s degree in French or a related field.
- A minimum of one semester of teaching experience in French at the college level (or equivalent).
- Successful interview.
Responsibilities
