Part-Time Summer Help-Wastewater Treatment Plant
About The Position
This position is responsible for entry level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. This job will include mowing on a Massey Ferguson 596 100 HP tractor with a 15' Batwing mower attached, as needed and weather permitting. Also included will be trash removal, hosing, cleaning equipment, and cleaning in the various buildings. Clarifiers will need to be hosed during times of plant upset. Cleaning chlorine contact tank as needed. Fueling the truck, utility cart and gas cans as needed. This position will clean the biogas scrubber balls on an as needed basis. Generally, duties that come from the proper operation and maintain a clean WWTP. Also other various odd jobs under the direction of the Wastewater Management.
Requirements
- Willing to stand or walk on hard floors 8 hours a day.
- Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
