About The Position

Snapology of South Broward is seeking an energetic and kid-savvy instructor to lead hands-on STEM/STEAM programs for elementary-age students. The role involves facilitating play-based learning through activities like model building, simple robotics, coding challenges, and engineering projects. The instructor will lead structured classes and camps, manage classrooms, set up and break down materials, and communicate with parents and staff. This is a part-time position requiring travel to various program locations.

Requirements

Experience working with or teaching elementary-age children (classroom, camp, tutoring, coaching, or similar)
A reliable vehicle and valid driver's license (you'll be driving to different program sites)
Enthusiasm, patience, and the ability to keep a room of kids excited and on-task
Comfort with hands-on materials, LEGO bricks, simple robotics/coding tools (training provided, no engineering degree required!)
Availability during after-school hours (roughly 2:30-6:30 PM) and/or weekends

Responsibilities

Lead fun, structured STEM/STEAM classes and camps for elementary-age kids (K-5)
Follow Snapology's curriculum while keeping the energy high and every student engaged
Manage a classroom of curious, high-energy kids with patience and confidence
Set up and break down activity materials (LEGO kits, robotics, coding tablets, etc.)
Communicate professionally with parents, school staff, and the Snapology team
