About The Position

Position Overview:
The Spanish Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate Spanish lessons to students in grades Pre-K through 8. The ideal candidate will foster a love for language learning while integrating religious values into the classroom experience. This is a part-time position, with the schedule to be determined upon hiring.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Spanish, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Previous teaching experience preferred
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• A commitment to supporting the mission and values of Immaculate Conception School and the Catholic Church
• Ability to plan and implement creative, interactive lessons appropriate to varying grade levels

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver Spanish instruction to multiple grade levels
• Create a positive, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment
• Encourage students to develop an appreciation for Spanish language and culture
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and administration to support the overall mission of the school
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate with parents as needed
