About The Position

Jim Montgomery Swim School (JMSS) is seeking a creative, reliable, and flexible Part-Time Social Media & Marketing Assistant to capture and share the essence of the swim school through engaging content and marketing projects. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys photography, social media, content creation, and working independently within a fun, family-oriented business. The position involves approximately 10 hours per week, with potential for more hours based on project needs. Flexible work-from-home options are available.

Requirements

Strong photography and/or videography skills.
Experience with social media platforms and content creation.
Flexible schedule with availability to come in at different times during the week to gather content across all of our programs.
Self-motivated and able to work independently from home.
Creative eye and ability to capture fun, professional, family-friendly content.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Canva, editing apps, or social media scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

Capture high-quality photos and videos of lessons, events, staff, and students throughout the week.
Create engaging social media content for platforms such as Instagram and Facebook.
Schedule and post content from home.
Assist with marketing projects, promotions, flyers, and other creative needs as assigned.
Help maintain and grow JMSS’s online presence and community engagement.
