The Van Driver is responsible for driving guests to designated locations, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, and performing concierge duties. Van Drivers must possess strong analytical and navigation skills with the ability to coordinate multiple pick-ups and drop-offs on a schedule under continuously changing circumstances. This role involves driving the van according to scheduled runs and/or as needed for guests, and accommodating guests during their stay in an attentive, courteous, and efficient manner. The position could be either full-time or part-time, with full-time positions being benefit-eligible. Operational demands require variations in shift days, starting times, and hours worked weekly. Essential job functions include approaching all guest and employee encounters with a friendly, service-oriented attitude, maintaining high standards of personal appearance and grooming (including proper uniform and name tag), and complying with Lexima standards and regulations for safe and efficient hotel operations. Responsibilities also include greeting guests pleasantly, loading and unloading luggage carts and the van, checking and storing luggage, maintaining an updated list of local attractions and events, providing information, maps, and directions, and maintaining the cleanliness of the motor entrance, front door, lobby area, and the van itself.
