About The Position

BTWA Elementary School is seeking a Part‑Time Secretary / Office Operations Associate who brings warmth, professionalism, and strong organizational skills to our front office. This team member plays a central role in creating the welcoming, orderly, and predictable environment that allows excellent teaching and joyful learning to flourish. As Connecticut’s first all‑boys public charter school, ECPA ois now entering its next pivot stage of growth. After a successful launch year with a small founding cohort, the school is now growing toward full scale—ultimately serving nearly 400 scholars in grades 5–8—and student enrollment is at the heart of that trajectory. In this space, the Part‑Time Secretary / Office Operations Associate will work closely with the Operations Manager, Principal and the broader team to support daily office operations, family communication, student data management, scheduling, and frontline service. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, calm under pressure, and energized by helping a school community run smoothly. Joining ECPA at this stage means stepping into a school community still writing its early chapters. This role is perfect for someone who understands how essential high‑quality office operations are to the daily experience of a middle school campus — and who takes pride in making complex logistics feel seamless, while helping to contribute to operational practices that will shape the school for years to come.
