About The Position

Merchandising Consultants Associates (MCA) is a 100% Canadian Owned and operated Company providing top-notch services to Retailers and Consumer Packaged Goods companies across Canada. Our diverse range of services includes Merchandising, Sales, Price Collection, Retail Audits, Retail Store Renovations, and so much more. This role is part-time and temporary, with an hourly rate of $19.00-$20.00 per hour, working up to approximately 20 hours per week. The schedule is Monday through Friday between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, with potential for extended hours, travel, and overnight stays. The start date is May 2026.

Requirements

Familiarity with merchandising in a grocery, gas and convenience, or big box setting.
Ability to read and execute planograms.
Flexibility with hours, including occasional extended shifts and last-minute scheduling as needed based on project demands.
Ability to work well independently as well as within a team, and comfort taking a lead role.
Strong knowledge of smartphone technology, including taking photos and utilizing imaging apps.
Self-starter mindset, thriving under the pressure and ambiguity of the dynamic Merchandiser role.
A valid driver's license, access to an insured vehicle and the ability to travel up-to 5 hours is essential.
Must reside in the specified location.
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

Setting up attractive product displays and arrange products following detailed planograms, ensuring product visibility and brand representation are optimized.
Building, modifying, and dismantling product displays and fixtures while strictly adhering to the client’s quality and branding standards.
Ensuring that the clients' products are well-stocked, properly arranged, and ready for customer purchase.
Installing eye-catching signage and performing additional merchandising services as required by the Company’s clients.
Keeping all stakeholders informed by completing online reports, uploading photos, and providing regular updates.
Forming and maintaining strong, influential relationships with clients, acting as a key representative for the Company and building trust to foster long-term partnerships.
