About The Position
The Bisanz lab at the Pennsylvania State University, Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (University Park, PA) is searching for a limited-term laboratory technician to work on a project involving the interactions of gut microbes and environmental toxicants. The candidate will be responsible for sample processing and multi-omic characterization of in vitro and animal experiments.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience with lab automation (OT-2 and Integra mini96)
- High throughput automated NGS library prep
- Illumina sequencing
- Anaerobic microbe isolation and genome sequencing
