Provides support for all public recreation programs for the City, under policies established by the Parks & Recreation Director. This role involves assisting Recreation Supervisors in developing and promoting city-sponsored recreation programs, ensuring they meet the needs of citizens, groups, teams, and individuals. The position offers physical and clerical support for new recreation programs, activities, equipment, and materials. Responsibilities include coordinating sign-up activities, signing in participants, collecting fees, accounting for monies, and supervising activities. The role also involves basic maintenance and clean-up of recreation equipment and facilities, monitoring activities for safety and compliance, and assisting the public in accessing programs and facilities.
