About The Position
St. Mary Catholic School is seeking a nurturing, energetic, and responsible individual to join their recess team. This part-time position involves supervising students during recess, which may include outdoor activities in all Michigan seasons. The schedule is flexible, ranging from 3-5 days per week, with hours from 11:00 AM to 1:45 PM on school days. The position runs from late August to mid-June.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Fingerprinting required prior to working with students.
- Background check required prior to working with students.
- Attendance at Protecting God’s Children workshop required prior to working with students.
- Physically able to move around outdoor area.
- Physically able to be on feet for 3+ hours.

- Must be okay with outdoor winter fun!
Responsibilities
- Supervise students during recess.
- Ensure student safety during outdoor activities in all weather conditions.
- Maintain a positive Christian attitude.
- Act as a positive role model for students.
- Demonstrate professionalism and strong ethical behavior.
- Follow St. Mary/AOD/health department rules.
- Engage positively with students.
