About The Position
St. Mary Catholic School is seeking a nurturing, energetic, and responsible individual to lead and direct its K-8 aftercare program. The program operates Monday through Friday from 3:15 PM to 6:00 PM on school days, from late August to mid-June. This is a part-time position.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Experience or coursework in working with children
- Fingerprinting
- Background check
- Attendance at Protecting God’s Children workshop
- Completion of required childcare licensing modules
- Physically able to move around indoor/outdoor area and be on feet for 2+ hours
- Maintain a positive Christian attitude
- Be reliable and punctual
- Be a positive role model for students
- Show professionalism and strong ethical behavior
Responsibilities
- Planning simple activities, crafts, and games
- Supervising children both indoors and outdoors
- Directing aftercare assistants
