About The Position
The City of Florissant is accepting applications for the position of Part-time Park Police Officer. The primary duties and responsibilities of a Part-time Park Police Officer include the prevention and suppression of crime, the investigation of offenses and the arrest of offenders, the protection of life and property, and the preservation of the peace.
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Must be POST licensed
- Must have a high school diploma or G.E.D.
- Must pass the written exam
- Must pass the oral exam
- Must pass the physical agility exam
- Must pass the background investigation
- Must pass the polygraph exam
- Must pass the psychological exam
- Must pass the pre-employment physical exam
- Must pass the drug screen exam
Nice To Haves
- Associates Degree or a minimum of 64 hours of college credit is preferred
