Requirements

  • Optometry license in the state of Oregon.
  • Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited school.
  • Strong clinical skills.
  • Patient-focused approach.

  • Efficiency in time management and documentation in an EHR system.
  • Flexibility to adapt to a part-time schedule while maintaining high-quality care.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong interest in or experience with dry eye management.
  • Strong interest in or experience with specialty contact lenses.
  • Strong interest in or experience with medical optometry, particularly in glaucoma and diabetes.
  • Open to new graduates with a willingness to grow in these areas.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive eye exams.
  • Perform contact lens fittings, including specialty and multifocal lenses.
  • Deliver medical eye care, including glaucoma management, dry eye treatment, and diabetic eye exams.
  • Handle red eye/urgent visits.
  • Educate patients on their eye health and treatment options.
  • Contribute to a smooth clinic flow by working with skilled staff.
  • Ensure each patient receives attentive, personalized care.
  • Maintain accurate records using the modern EHR system.
