Requirements

Optometry license in the state of Oregon.
Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited school.
Strong clinical skills.

Efficiency in time management and documentation in an EHR system.
Flexibility to adapt to a part-time schedule while maintaining high-quality care.

Nice To Haves

Strong interest in or experience with dry eye management.
Strong interest in or experience with specialty contact lenses.
Strong interest in or experience with medical optometry, particularly in glaucoma and diabetes.
Open to new graduates with a willingness to grow in these areas.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive eye exams.
Perform contact lens fittings, including specialty and multifocal lenses.
Deliver medical eye care, including glaucoma management, dry eye treatment, and diabetic eye exams.
Handle red eye/urgent visits.
Educate patients on their eye health and treatment options.
Contribute to a smooth clinic flow by working with skilled staff.
Ensure each patient receives attentive, personalized care.
Maintain accurate records using the modern EHR system.
