About The Position

Ramona Eye Care Optometry, established in 2008, is a private practice serving residents in northeast San Diego County. We are dedicated to providing patients with the highest quality, professional eye care available. Our team works cohesively to deliver thorough eye health exams, patient education, and advancements in contact lenses and eyewear. We offer specialties in dry eye treatment, myopia management, and specialty contact lenses, and the practice features a complete optical. Our practice is equipped with the latest technology, including a Digital Refraction System, OCT, Retinal Camera, Corneal Topographer, Tear Film Analysis, Meibography, Threshold VF, and EHR. We are looking for an Optometrist to join a team that strives to make a positive impact on the lives of patients. This part-time position involves practicing full-scope optometry for patients of all ages, visual, and medical conditions. Optometric techs will provide pretesting and support, with exams typically scheduled at 2 per hour. The position is for 1 or 2 days per week, with flexibility in choosing which days.

Requirements

• Highly compassionate and self-motivated Optometrist committed to providing exceptional patient care and customer service.
• Current with new techniques and innovations to enhance patient care and services.
• Licensed with California State Board with TPA/Glaucoma certification.
• California Optometry License with TPA/Glaucoma

Responsibilities

• Practice full-scope optometry to patients of all ages, visual, and medical conditions.
• Communicate eye health, eyewear, and prescription advice to patients, demonstrating exceptional product knowledge.
