About The Position

This advertisement is for a PART-TIME OPS Senior Clerk position which is a NON-SWORN position within the Operational Support Services Section of the Criminal Investigations Division. The Criminal Investigations Division encompasses all law enforcement and forensic components residing within the Department of Financial Services. The incumbent of this position is a member of the DFS’ Disaster Response Team and, in that capacity, may be required on short notice to perform duties and necessary attendant travel in support of disaster relief efforts.

Requirements

High School Diploma or its' equivalent.
VALID Driver’s License from the Department of Safety and Motor Vehicles.
Proficient in using Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Knowledge of general office procedures and practices
Knowledge of correct grammar usage
Knowledge of basic arithmetic
Ability to prepare reports and correspondence
Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate work activities
Ability to develop and implement office procedures
Ability to follow instructions
Ability to review data for accuracy and completeness
Ability to communicate effectively
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others
Ability and skills to effectively work in Microsoft Office Suite, to include Word, Excel, and Outlook

Nice To Haves

A degree from an accredited college or university.
Experience with Customer Service.
Experience working in law enforcement agency, law firm, fire service industry, or government investigative agency.
Bilingual verbal and written skills that meet a critical need of the agency’s mission.
