Requirements

• Must be living in the Bay Area
• Previous on-air radio experience
• Strong communication, storytelling, and audience engagement skills
• Must be an AFTRA member or be willing to join AFTRA
• Excellent voice, timing, and show preparation abilities
• Ability to connect authentically with listeners both live and through voice tracking
• Audio production and editing experience
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Dependable, flexible, and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
• A genuine passion for radio, Country music, entertainment, and local community involvement
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a fully insured personal vehicle

Responsibilities

• Serve as fill-in talent for full-time air staff during vacations, sick days, and other absences on 96.5 KOIT (AC)
• Voice track weekends on 96.5 KOIT (approximately 5 hours per week)
• Host live on-air shifts that inform, entertain, and connect with listeners
• Record and deliver engaging voice-tracked air shifts
• Work weekends and holidays as needed
• Record and produce commercials, promotional announcements, and station imaging
• Create memorable on-air content that is entertaining, local, and relevant
• Follow station formats, clocks, and programming guidelines
• Operate broadcast automation, audio editing, and scheduling systems
• Represent the station at remote broadcasts, community events, and promotional appearances
• Support digital content efforts through social media and website contributions
