About The Position

Connoisseur Media in the Bay Area is seeking a talented and versatile Part-Time On-Air Programming Personality. This role is for someone passionate about radio, music, and connecting with audiences, who thrives behind the microphone and enjoys creating compelling content in a fun, fast-paced environment. The position involves entertaining listeners on-air, producing station content, supporting programming, and engaging with the community at events to deliver exceptional local radio.

Requirements

• Must be living in the Bay Area
• Must have previous on-air radio experience
• Strong communication, storytelling, and audience engagement skills.
• Must be an AFTRA member or be willing to join AFTRA
• Excellent voice, timing, and show preparation abilities.
• Ability to connect authentically with listeners both live and through voice tracking.
• Audio production and editing experience
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Dependable, flexible, and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
• A genuine passion for radio, Country music, entertainment, and local community involvement.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a fully insured personal vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Serve as fill-in talent for full-time air staff during vacations, sick days, and other absences on 96.5 KOIT (AC)
• Voice track weekends on 96.5 KOIT (approximately 5 hours per week).
• Host live on-air shifts that inform, entertain, and connect with listeners.
• Record and deliver engaging voice-tracked air shifts.
• Work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Record and produce commercials, promotional announcements, and station imaging.
• Create memorable on-air content that is entertaining, local, and relevant.
• Follow station formats, clocks, and programming guidelines.
• Operate broadcast automation, audio editing, and scheduling systems.
• Represent the station at remote broadcasts, community events, and promotional appearances.
• Support digital content efforts through social media and website contributions.
