About The Position

Take 5 Oil Change is looking for friendly and energetic team members to join their family. They offer a Pit Tech to President growth path, with over 90% of their field leaders being internal promotions. This is an opportunity for part-time crew members and lube techs to showcase their skills. No experience is required as training will be provided for tasks such as changing oil, replacing wiper blades and air filters, filling tires, and performing other light maintenance services. The ideal candidate should be willing to learn, work hard, and bring a positive attitude. Successful lube technicians have joined the team with no prior experience, coming from various backgrounds including servers, restaurant workers, mechanics, retail employees, landscapers, and other skilled trades. The company emphasizes rapid advancement, with over 90% of Shop Managers starting as lube techs. Paid training is provided to help team members advance and become leaders earning salaries and bonuses.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift to fifty (50) pounds
• Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow 3’ deep pit to position yourself safely under cars
• Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, etc. for extended periods of time and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning
• Must be willing to work in hot/cold weather conditions if necessary
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop

Responsibilities

• Drain motor oil
• Change oil filter
• Wash windshield
• Adjust tire pressure
• Inspect and top off fluids
• Perform coolant exchanges
• Restock and maintain inventory levels on the floor
• Maintain cleanliness of work environment
• Provide excellent customer service
