Take 5 Oil Change is a neighborhood go-to oil change spot with over 35 years of experience, known for friendly technicians, oil change expertise, and efficient service that allows customers to stay in their vehicles. The company is looking for friendly and energetic team members, including technicians and managers, with a 'Pit Tech to President' growth path, where over 90% of field leaders are internal promotions. This specific opportunity is for a Part-Time Oil Change Team Member, also referred to as a part-time crew member and lube tech. No experience is required as paid training will be provided to teach oil changes, wiper blade/air filter replacement, tire pressure checks, and other light maintenance services. The role offers competitive base pay and weekly bonuses, with potential earnings up to $15/hr.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift to fifty (50) pounds
• Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow 3’ deep pit to position yourself safely under cars
• Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, etc. for extended periods of time and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning
• Must be willing to work in hot/cold weather conditions if necessary
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop
• Be willing to learn, work hard, and bring a positive attitude to the shop

Responsibilities

• Drain motor oil, change oil filter
• Wash windshield and adjust tire pressure
• Inspect and top off fluids
• Perform coolant exchanges
• Restock and maintain inventory levels on the floor
• Maintain cleanliness of work environment
• Provide excellent customer service
