Part-Time Nanny – Derry, NH
About The Position
A family in Derry, NH is seeking a warm, reliable, and experienced nanny to care for their happy 1-year-old toddler twins starting this fall. The ideal candidate is patient, energetic, and passionate about supporting early childhood growth and development in a nurturing home environment. The schedule is 3-4 days per week, either Monday-Wednesday or Monday-Thursday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, totaling 27-36 hours per week. Schedule flexibility is available with sufficient advance notice. The family lives in a smoke-free home with a friendly dog. This is an in-home care position, meaning no driving or transportation of children is required.
Requirements
- Previous experience caring for infants and toddlers
- Dependable, patient, and energetic personality
- Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation to get to and from the shift
- Non-smoker
- Comfortable around pets (dog in the home)
Nice To Haves
- Experience caring for twins or multiples
- Background or education in Early Childhood Education
- CPR and First Aid certified
- Strong professional references
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, safe, and engaging care for 1-year-old twins throughout the day
- Plan age-appropriate, creative activities that support learning, motor skills, and milestone development
- Prepare meals and snacks for the children
- Maintain established nap schedules and daily care routines
- Keep play areas and child-related spaces clean and tidy
Benefits
- Compensation: $25–$30 per hour (commensurate with experience)
