About The Position
We’re currently looking for a Part-Time After-School Nanny in Brooklyn, NY (11215) A wonderful family in the Park Slope area of Brooklyn, is seeking a fun, energetic, creative, nanny to provide after-school care for their son, 3-4 days per week. The ideal candidate will enjoy being active and playful, while also helping keep the afternoon routine on track.
Requirements
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Minimum of 2 years of paid childcare experience with school age children
- CPR certified or willing to obtain
- At least 2 references from paid, care-related experience
- Ability to successfully pass a background and social media check
- Non-smoker
Responsibilities
- Pick up from school and walk home (about 10 minutes).
- On occasion, visit nearby parks or playgrounds and engage in active play
- Provide an afternoon snack
- Accompany him to tutoring sessions or other scheduled activities as needed
- Provide consistent homework help and ensure homework is completed before parents arrive home
- Engage in creative and imaginative play, limiting distractions or screen time
- Help maintain a smooth and positive after-school routine
