About The Position
A family in the Montrose area of Houston, TX 77098 is seeking a warm, attentive, and reliable part-time caregiver for their infant (7 month old plus) daughter. The schedule is for Friday or Saturday evenings, for 3+ hours per week, and is a long-term position starting ASAP. The family environment is smoke-free and has two friendly indoor cats. The home is not currently baby-proofed, requiring constant supervision and active engagement. The family values a caregiver who is patient and comfortable with contact naps, as no sleep training has been done.
Requirements
- Infant CPR certification
- Experience with introducing solid foods to infants
- Physical ability to lift and carry a baby
- Proof of legal authorization to work in the United States

- 5+ years of infant care experience
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive care and active play for an infant
- Prepare and introduce solid foods
- Manage contact napping as needed
- Give baths if needed (e.g., after messy meal times or play)
- Maintain continuous supervision while engaging in play
- Perform light tidying, basic organizing, and cleanup related to the child
Benefits
