St Paul - Part Time Nanny Needed
About The Position
We are seeking a nurturing and experienced part-time nanny to care for our two children, aged 1 and 4, in St. Paul. The primary focus will be on our 1-year-old, helping her thrive as she transitions from being home with family to starting a Montessori program in November 2026. This role involves fostering her curiosity through play, enjoying outdoor adventures, and supporting her growth. Occasional care for the older daughter will also be required. The ideal candidate is experienced in toddler development, reliable, professional, and comfortable with dogs, as we have a gentle rescue dog named Daphne.
Requirements
- Experience with toddler development.
- Ability to create fun, screen-free activities.
- Reliability and professionalism.
- Comfortable sharing space with a dog.
Responsibilities
- Nurturing the 1-year-old's curiosity and development through play and exploration.
- Engaging the 1-year-old in outdoor activities and neighborhood walks.
- Supporting the 1-year-old's growth and personality development.
- Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children.
- Light housekeeping, including tidying play areas, light vacuuming, and cleaning the kitchen after meals.
- Managing children's laundry.
- Providing occasional care for the older daughter when kindergarten is not in session.
