About The Position
A family in Scotts Valley, CA 95066 is seeking an experienced and compassionate Nanny for their two children, ages 6 and 8. The schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday from 2:30 PM – 5:00 PM and Wednesday from 12:30 PM – 5:00 PM, totaling approximately 12.5 hours per week. The family has a pet-free and smoke-free home.
Requirements
- Previous experience caring for school-aged children
- Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle for transportation (booster seat provided by family)
- Active CPR and First Aid certifications required
- Proof of legal authorization to work in the United States
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience working with children who have ADHD is a plus but not required
Responsibilities
- Provide age-appropriate supervision, engagement, and assistance with homework and structured after-school routines
- Safely handle school pickups and drive children to local extracurricular activities (all within a 10-minute radius)
- Prepare after-school snacks and simple dinner prep for the children/family
- Light housekeeping duties (tidying play/bedroom areas, washing dishes used during shift/kitchen cleanup, and folding laundry)
