Requirements

Previous maintenance, janitorial, or facilities experience preferred
Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented with a strong work ethic
Must pass a background check in compliance with childcare regulations
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
Friendly, professional demeanor suitable for a child-centered environment

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and upkeep throughout the preschool facility
Ensure classrooms, restrooms, common areas, and outdoor play spaces are clean and well-maintained
Identify and report safety hazards or maintenance issues promptly
Complete minor plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs as needed
Maintain HVAC, lighting, and other building systems
Maintain grounds, including landscaping, trash removal, and exterior upkeep
