About The Position
Griswold Home Care is seeking a qualified caregiver for a part-time live-in position in Newtown, CT. The role involves providing care to elderly clients in their homes in Fairfield County, aiming to improve their quality of life through dedication, understanding, and exemplary care. The position requires the caregiver to be available 24/7 with the client from Saturday 10:00 a.m. to Tuesday 10:00 a.m. A driver is needed for this role.
Requirements
- A minimum of one year of working experience providing non-medical services to elderly clients
- Ability to pass a background check
- Provide 2 professional references and 2 personal references
- Provide 2 forms of unexpired acceptable identification documents
- Must be a driver
Responsibilities
- Be with your client 24/7
- Assist with all daily living activities such as preparing meals, laundry, bathing, dressing, and any other duty your client is unable to safely perform
- Provide medication reminders
