About The Position

The Brandeis School of Law invites applications for Part-Time Lecturer (PTL) teaching positions for the Spring 2026 (January-May), Summer 2026 (June - July), Fall 2026 (August-December) semesters. Review of applications will begin upon receipt and continue until positions are filled. Interested candidates should include in their application a resume or curriculum vitae and a cover letter or expression of interest that notes the subject area(s) the applicant is interested in teaching. Applications should be addressed to Professor Timothy Hall, Associate Dean of Faculty Affairs. Official academic transcripts will be required of all successful applicants. We are interested in hiring in a wide variety of areas, but have particular interest in the following courses: Professional Responsibility, Mediation, Administrative Law, Trial Advocacy/Trial Practice.

Requirements

  • A J.D. degree
  • Demonstrated expertise in the field

Nice To Haves

  • Prior teaching experience, particularly as an adjunct professor at a law school

Responsibilities

  • Teach courses in various subject areas within the law school.
  • Teach specific courses such as Professional Responsibility, Mediation, Administrative Law, and Trial Advocacy/Trial Practice.
