About The Position

The Department of Public Health and Health Sciences in the Bouvé College of Health Sciences of Northeastern University is urgently hiring in-person part-time lecturers for the Fall 26 term on the Boston campus. The Department’s mission is to promote the health and well-being of diverse individuals, communities, and populations through health care innovations and interdisciplinary collaborative initiatives across all scientific fields, engineering, and the humanities. Requirements

At least a Masters in an appropriate field

Teaching experience

Responsibilities

Preparing syllabi, lectures, course materials, all examinations including a final exam, and evaluations of student performance in the course
Developing and implementing materials for lectures for in-person or online/hybrid courses
Working under the direction of the Lead Faculty
Holding office hours as appropriate
Engaging productively with teaching assistants
Collaborating on course revisions and improvements with department faculty and the University’s Center for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning through Research (CATLR)
