About The Position
Wilkinson College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences at Chapman University seeks applications for its Part-Time Lecturer Pool for potential teaching opportunities in various disciplines including Art, Creative & Cultural Industries, English, History, Peace & Justice Studies, Political Science, Sociology, Anthropology, World Languages & Cultures, and Interdisciplinary Minors. Requirements
- Earned graduate degree from an accredited institution or professional equivalency.
- Demonstrated currency in subject matter.
- Strong commitment to student learning, quality teaching, and academic excellence.
- Ability to motivate and teach students of diverse learning styles and backgrounds.
- Ability to teach in-person on campus.

- Prior teaching experience.
Responsibilities
- Teach courses in areas such as Art, Art History, Design, Creative Writing, Literature, Journalism, Rhetoric, History, Peace & Justice Studies, Political Science, Sociology, Anthropology, World Languages, and various Interdisciplinary Minors.
- Contribute to shaping transformative educational experiences for students.
- Be available on short notice for potential teaching opportunities.
