About The Position

Seeking applications for a non-tenure track, part-time lecturer for the Fall 2026 semester for Questrom’s required undergraduate Critical and Analytical Thinking communications course. In this course, students learn to express critical and analytical thought clearly, concisely, and persuasively in multiple mediums. Specifically, students learn to: solve complex problems by applying an iterative, structured problem-solving method; craft and deliver well-structured arguments on business topics; evaluate the quality of evidence; and communicate effectively in writing, with visual aids, during presentations, and in the moment.

Requirements

  • Experience in teaching communications or a related field.
  • Ability to guide students in critical and analytical thinking.
  • Proficiency in teaching problem-solving methodologies.
  • Skills in instructing argument construction and delivery.
  • Knowledge of evidence evaluation techniques.
  • Strong communication skills for teaching various mediums (writing, visual aids, presentations, impromptu).

Responsibilities

  • Teach Questrom’s required undergraduate Critical and Analytical Thinking communications course.
  • Guide students in expressing critical and analytical thought clearly, concisely, and persuasively in multiple mediums.
  • Instruct students on solving complex problems using an iterative, structured problem-solving method.

Benefits

  • Compensation rate for adjunct lecturers teaching a full semester, full credit, communications course at the Questrom School of Business ranges from $9,500 - $11,000.
