About The Position

Requirements
- M.A. required.
- Ability to teach on ground on the Boston campus or online asynchronously.
- Must be able to maintain valid work authorization in the United States throughout the entire appointment without Northeastern University’s sponsorship for a visa.
Nice To Haves
- Ph.D. or A.B.D. preferred.
- Experienced in teaching large and diverse groups of students.
Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate courses in one or more of the following fields: Introduction to Sociology, Introduction to Cultural Anthropology, Drugs and Society, Sociology of Mental Health Gender; Poverty; Urban Sociology; Race and Ethnicity; Social Movements; Sociology of the Family; Disability; Work and Organizations; Anthropology of Latin America; Anthropology of Native North America, and other undergraduate courses.
- Deliver lectures.
- Develop assignments.
- Grade assignments.
- Hold appropriate office hours.
