About The Position
The Department of Art + Design invites applications for part-time lecturers for the Fall and Spring semesters. These positions are for in-person instruction only at this time. Faculty selected for the position will be expected to teach at the undergraduate level. We are seeking qualified instructors in the following areas: Art History, Design, and Studio Art.
Requirements
- A Ph.D. in Art History is preferred.
- An M.A. in Art History will also be considered.
- A BSGD in Design is preferred.
- Applicants with another degree in Design will also be considered when teaching and/or professional experience in the field clearly qualifies them to teach in the discipline.
- An MFA in Studio Art is preferred.
- A BFA with teaching experience and/or professional experience in the field that clearly qualifies the applicant to teach in the discipline will also be considered.

- Demonstrate a strong foundation in the discipline and a commitment to undergraduate teaching (Art History).
- Demonstrate technical expertise and a capacity for effective teaching in their area of specialization (Design).
- Demonstrate technical expertise and a capacity for effective teaching in their area of specialization (Studio Art).
