About The Position
The Part-Time Casual Delivery Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently delivering fresh floral products to customers across assigned routes. This role plays a key part in ensuring on-time delivery, maintaining product quality, and delivering a positive customer experience.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- 2+ years of professional driving experience operating box trucks (16 ft or larger preferred)
- Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain DOT Medical Certification (CDL not required)
- Acceptable driving record
- Ability to safely lift and move up to 60 pounds
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to effectively use GPS and navigation tools for route management
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Dependable, self-motivated, and team-oriented approach
- Ability to pass pre-employment screenings
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a refrigerated box truck to complete assigned delivery routes
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of floral products to customers
- Provide professional and courteous customer service during deliveries
- Load and unload products while maintaining product quality and organization
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and basic operational readiness
- Follow assigned routes and use GPS/navigation tools to optimize efficiency
- Partner with warehouse team members to ensure order accuracy
- Maintain compliance with company policies, safety standards, and DOT regulations
