About The Position
The Modern Languages program at The University of the Virgin Islands seeks to build a pool of qualified applicants for possible positions in French and Spanish (lower-division language classes). Contract offer is contingent upon demonstration of professional–level proficiency (ACTFL Superior, or equivalent) in both English and the target language and eligibility to work in the United States.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Spanish, French, Second Language Acquisition or related field
- Professional-level proficiency (ACTFL Superior, or equivalent) in both English and the target language
- Eligibility to work in the United States
Nice To Haves
- College level teaching experience
- Experience teaching language using the Communicative Method
- Experience teaching hybrid courses
