PART TIME INSTRUCTOR POOL - NURSING
About The Position
The Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District is recruiting part-time nursing instructors for its Allied Health & Nursing department. Under administrative leadership, part-time faculty perform tasks that support the colleges’ and District’s visions, missions, and values. Responsibilities include work related to classroom assignments, evaluating students, curriculum, student advising, professional development, and assignment-specific needs. Assignments and work hours vary. Applications are retained in the pool for one year, with interviews conducted as needed. The anticipated start date is Spring 2027. The stated starting salary range is $70.84–$86.11, based on the Adjunct, Overload and Substitute Salary Schedule.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in nursing, or a bachelor’s degree in nursing.
- Be eligible for approval as an instructor by the California State Board of Nursing; equivalent experience and/or education may be determined by the Board of Registered Nursing.
- Applicants applying under equivalency must submit the Equivalency Determination Form and equivalency materials.
- Successful fingerprint clearance is required before employment.
