About The Position

The candidate will be expected to provide independent clinical services in the Cosmetic Clinic such as injectables, fillers, lesion removals, laser treatments and scar revisions. This position requires the ability to handle and lift patients and operate required equipment. The position may also require a stationary position or movement for extended periods as required during the provision of services. This position requires frequent communication and must be able to exchange accurate information. The NP/PA may also be exposed to communicable diseases and bodily fluids, and it is expected that the candidate will be appropriately knowledgeable regarding universal safety precautions. This position will be required to work at the CU Medicine Cosmetic Clinic located at the Anschutz Health and Wellness Center.

Requirements

Current license to practice as a Physician Assistant
Meets and maintains specific requirements of the Medical Review Board (Physician Assistant)
Ability to obtain prescriptive authority (DEA License)
At least 5 years’ experience in cosmetic procedures
Legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship

Previous academic experience
8 years’ experience in cosmetic procedures
