About The Position

This is a part-time, onsite instructor position at the Grand Forks, ND campus. The instructor will teach OT 504 Occupation and Analysis to graduate students, assist with course content, assessment, and scheduling, and support student learning and confidence in the subject area. Responsibilities include individual and group student meetings, tracking student success, grading assessments, maintaining confidentiality, and assisting with classroom preparation and disassembly. The role requires leading in-person instruction for occupation and analysis.

Requirements

  • Licensed or eligible for license in ND as an occupational therapist
  • Work independently
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues
  • Past didactic or fieldwork teaching experience in occupational therapy
  • Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
  • Verify identity and eligibility to work in the US
  • Complete required employment eligibility verification form upon hire

Responsibilities

  • Teach OT 504 Occupation and Analysis to graduate students
  • Assist in content, assessment, and scheduling for Occupation and Analysis
  • Motivate, support, and empower students to expand their confidence in this subject area by assisting them in learning the content
  • Meet with students individually and in small groups to reinforce and assist students with understanding course content
  • Assist in tracking student success and other duties as assigned
  • Grade assessment strategies assigned in the course
  • Maintain student confidentiality at all times
  • Assist with preparation and disassembly of the classroom
  • Lead in-person instruction for occupation and analysis
