About The Position

Tulsa Tech is seeking a Part-time Instructor for Artificial Intelligence (AI) at the Riverside Campus. This role involves teaching AI concepts to individuals with various backgrounds and skill levels, making the subject accessible and understandable. The instructor will be responsible for delivering competency-based curriculum using effective instructional strategies and managing the classroom to create an optimal learning environment. Maintaining student records, ensuring course materials are up-to-date, and demonstrating professionalism are key aspects of this position. The instructor will also participate in professional development and uphold the mission and goals of Tulsa Tech's ACD program.

Requirements

• 2-4 years experience in an educational setting or industry experience in training others.
• Experience leading and facilitating instruction in artificial intelligence (AI).
• Ability to teach individuals with various backgrounds and skill levels, making AI concepts accessible and understandable.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate extensive knowledge of and experience in the appropriate subject matter.
• Instruct students in competency-based program curriculum using current instructional strategies appropriate to the subject matter to assure highest quality classroom instruction.
• Effectively manage the classroom to create an optimal learning environment.
• Maintain up-to-date records of student attendance, academic progress and grades as required by district policy and certification/regulatory agencies.
• Ensure syllabus, supply list and lesson plans are current prior to each class taught.
• Demonstrate effective people skills, communication skills and professionalism (i.e. � prepared, reliable, responsible, punctual, etc.)
• Demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to the mission and goals of Tulsa Tech's ACD program
• Participate in professional development opportunities as required by the ACD department.
