About The Position

Mennonite College of Nursing (MCN) at Illinois State University is seeking qualified individuals for part-time instructional assistant professor positions. MCN has a reputation for innovation and excellence, offering traditional and online programs including prelicensure, RN to BSN, accelerated Baccalaureate degrees, a Ph.D. in nursing science, and a Doctor of Nursing Practice. MCN is a leader in research on aging/vulnerable populations, heart failure, and nursing education science. This posting is for a pool of qualified persons interested in undergraduate non-tenure-track teaching positions throughout the academic year and summer sessions. Requirements

• Masters of Science in Nursing completed by the start date of the appointment
• Passion for teaching undergraduate students in the clinical, laboratory and classroom setting
• Must have licensure in Illinois by the start date of the appointment
• For teaching positions, state law mandates demonstrable oral proficiency in the English language as a requirement for this position
• Compliance with all required MCN and Site Health and Safety requirements prior to the start date of appointment

Nice To Haves

• Previous teaching experience in a clinical, laboratory and/or classroom setting
• Experience in Psych mental health, acute care, critical care, pediatrics and public health
