The Sales Development Specialist handles inbound customer leads and generates sales appointments with homeowners looking to sell. This role is focused on answering inbound calls, building rapport quickly, and qualifying opportunities to ensure a smooth handoff to the sales team. This is a front-line, customer-facing role ideal for someone who is confident on the phone, highly organized, and interested in real estate but may be early in their career or seeking part-time hours. Hours: Approximately 20–25 hours per week Schedule includes weekends and evenings

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar sales, customer service, or call-based role
  • Strong phone presence and communication skills
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Above-average computer skills (CRM systems, Google Suite)
  • Reliable availability for weekends and evening hours
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with both customers and internal sales teams

Responsibilities

  • Answering inbound calls and creating a strong first impression
  • Responding to internet inquiries from prospective sellers
  • Asking thoughtful questions and actively listening to understand seller needs and motivation
  • Thoroughly documenting conversations and lead details in the CRM
  • Scheduling appointments with a strong emphasis on speed, accuracy, and logistical efficiency
  • Demonstrating urgency in follow-up to ensure timely appointment setting
  • Maintaining communication via calls, texts, emails, and voicemails
  • Supporting the sales team through consistent outreach and follow-up
