About The Position

Town & Country Industries (TCI), an ABC Supply Company and wholesale distributor of aluminum products and building supplies, is seeking a motivated Inside Sales/Administrative Support associate to join its team. TCI is proud to be an employee-first company and has received the Gallup Great Workplace Award every year since its inception in 2007. In this role, you will provide administrative support to the branch and assist customers as they purchase the materials and tools they need for a wide variety of building projects. From the moment you greet customers until their sales have been finalized, you will provide them with superior service and building supply expertise. This is a part-time position, requiring work two days a week as needed.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years' experience is preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Positive attitude and team player

Responsibilities

  • Answering telephones, entering sales data, filing and keeping accurate records
  • Completing invoicing and purchasing duties
  • Accepting payment and applying it to the appropriate customer account
  • Accurately enter orders into AS400 system
  • Arranging with the warehouse for customer product pickup
  • Providing sales support with project quotes, pricing and bids
  • Determining customers’ needs and recommending appropriate products and solutions
